Geneva During G8 Summit

The pictures in this album were taken early on Sunday morning. This was the day for the main protest marches against the G8 summit. Most of the demonstrators were peaceful, but an aggressive core went on a destructive rampage in the center of Geneva during the night. The rioters caused much damage in the Old Town of Geneva, which was then closed to the public.
