Aid4Mail now exports more metadata from Google Apps Vault and Google Takeout mbox files than competing solutions

Charmey, Switzerland -- 3 November 2015 – Fookes Software Ltd today announced the latest version of the popular email migration and archiving tool, Aid4Mail. The update ensures compatibility with Outlook 2016. It also includes the ability to export email status information from Google Apps Vault and Google Takeout mbox files.

By introducing full compatibility with Google Apps Vault and Google Takeout mbox files, Aid4Mail is the only solution on the market to export status information from these files. This status information identifies if an email was flagged, unread, opened or deleted.

Although Google Apps Vault and Google Takeout both export mbox files, which previous releases of Aid4Mail could already process, not all mbox files are built alike. This can lead to loss of data when converting these mbox file variants into another file format.
